Boston Lodge is a railway workshop located in North-West Wales, near the Festiniog Railway.
History[]
In 1879, the brothers Duke and Bertram were built, however Boston Lodge were unable to give Bertram a tender. Duke made a swift exit, leaving Bertram feeling abandoned and lost. Gareth Heilwyn informed him that he was to work on the Cynwrig Railway.
In 1886, Mighty Mac was built for work on the Festiniog Railway.

- The iconic workshop scene was specially filmed by Matt Rhyndale as part of early test footage compiled by Neil Lambert for a potential pilot episode. While all other footage was re-drafted and remastered, Neil decided to keep the original workshop scene as a nod to the lore of the series itself.
